What Is Shibuya?
Shibuya?
Shibuya is one of the 23 special wards of Tokyo, Japan. The name "Shibuya" is also used to refer to the central business district of Shibuya Ward, which surrounds Shibuya Station, one of Tokyo's busiest railway stations. Shibuya is known as one of the fashion centers of Japan, particularly for young people, and as a major nightlife area. Its name translates as bitter valley, and is famous for it's various cultural landmarks.
Originally a simple village, Shibuya would soon become the city today, a busy town in which various kinds of people meet, an epicenter of individuality. Shibuya contains hundreds of businesses within it, as well as being the Headquarters of several larger companies. Shibuya has always some form of entertainment going on, whether it be music stars rocking on, the new line of clothing being displayed, the opening of a new restaurant, or a new display in one of it's grand museums. Constantly changing, Shibuya represents the unique chaotic race that is humanity.
Why Shibuya?
As younger ages are often found to be the most chaotic age of all, Shibuya reflects those who walk it's streets in it's own unique way. Because of the constant travel of people through it's streets, so many single consciousnesses pass each other so many times without a second glance or care at all. Some believe this to be why Shibuya is such a target for the unusual test known as, "The Reaper's Game".
Where is Shibuya?
Shibuya is part of Tokyo, the capital of Japan, located on the far east part of Asia.
When does this RP take place?
Now. Right this moment. No feudal age, no futuristic war nor ancient quarrel. No, this roleplay is right in the world you know...Or rather, you thought you know.
