Week 1, Day 1 - Bouncing into the Underground

The background slowly comes into focus, a mesmerizing curse dissipating from their minds. Distinct and familiar sounds are heard. Footsteps all around them, shouts of joy and anxiety. People hurry on past you as you lay upon the cold cement. The sun shines above, friendly as ever. Yet then comes memory- Ruining all the pleasantries with a single recollection. I'm dead, comes to mind.

You find yourself in a parking lot, a few cars stopped in front of a large store- the Main store of Shibuya. People enter through the automatic doors with smiles, searching for the perfect bargain. Quality of the product is important, but so it price. Tough decisions are made as the numbers add up in their minds. An employee comes by you without looking, grabbing discarded carts and leading them behind him. The cart goes through your body without any resistance. The diseased have entered. Shall they remain so?

We shall soon see...For the Game has begun!

This was not something a man like Yajuu would expect, dying to be put in a game like he was chess piece. It was for a good reason too, he was given the option to live once again if he won this so call game. He was somewhere familar and it seemed like he had been here before. He could not put his finger on it as he looked around. He turned around to see a huge store and that was when he figured out where he was standing at. This was Main Store of Shibuya.

Yajuu had been here many times before, but for some reason he did not realize the place until he gather his thoughts together. He began to walk and then from behind a cart went through him and startled him. What the hell had just happen how was that possible. It did not take him quite long to figure it out, he was dead he had remember himself dying and now he was on this planet without anyone able to see him.

He was in the parking lot standing there wondering what to do. His long brown hair stood flat on his back as nothing budged him. His clothes looked the same as before he died. A black zippered jacket with green on it, a muscle belt that was on his waist, his black shorts was on him the way he liked it and his black boots. There was something missing and it was his green neckless. The man was not kidding when he was going to take it and now Yajuu's goal was to get that and his life back.

The Green Monster looked at the sky and grabbed his hair with both his hand and then without any sign of warning he gave out a huge scream to see if anyone would hear him. After a few seconds of screaming he stopped and put his hands down to see what was coming.

...Eh?...Where?...ah shit.

Back? Yes. Alive? Eh...no.

When people walk through you and anything you affect reverts to what it was before you touched it, like nothing happened, you know you're dead. Of course, this was The Game. Of life? Yeah, very much so for this individual.

Before he had been thrown back into the real world he had been shortly re-united with his one and only true love. Yukime. Oh God, she was as beautiful as ever. But back to Shibuya's Main Store.

Black hair framed a tanned skin face with black eyes. Spikes going off the back of his head, his entire body was shrouded with a black trenchcoat, save the white scarf around his neck which was a memento of his late love.

Looking around, someone caught his eye. Someone whom everyone walked through, just as they did Karasu. Walking to him, Karasu spoke.

"Yo, you dead too?"

It was like a sign to Yajuu. His screaming had brought someone to him not like that person had heard him scream, but he hoped so. The man was walking towards his direction and then with out second thoughts he asked the Green Monster if he was also dead as well. He was in shocked he knew there might be other people, but for one to be close to him was surprising. He turned his body fully, so that it could be in the exact direction the man was coming towards him.

"Apparently I am really dead, but I'm not sure what I have to do now. Do you?" Yajuu had asked in a normal voice.

At least now he knew he was not alone and that there was someone around him that he could speak to and would not phase him. He was not the type of person to speak to people, but at a time he needed to know he was not going crazy. Yajuu had forgot to ask the man's name as it would probably be important to him the future. He sighed and patted his chest a couple of times.

"Hmm by the way my name is Midori Yajuu and what about yours?" Yajuu said to what can be a new found friend.

Shinigami had a cellphone in his hand, he was ready to call somebody that was in the same building as them. He was just sitting there, like any other person would of done. All he did was flip his cellphone open then close, open then close. He was wondering when he should call the two players that where in the same building. As he did this, Shinigami got up walking out of the building with a drink in his right hand then his cellphone with his left.

After a few seconds of him leaving the store, Yajuu's cellphone rang along with Karasu's cellphone, one was to pick up, it really didn't matter. As Shinigami heard the phone pick up, he spoke out loud, ignoring what they had to say. "You and your new friend you just met, go to A-East, you have two hours to get there, if you don't get there by that time, you will be dead again for the rest of your life this time."

Shinigami's voice was deep and serious, he just had started walking to A- East were he was going to be waiting, the game would be fun for him, atleast, but that was all that mattered. The game had been a simple game, Shinigami would be sitting on the stairs, where inside of the building, a wall was set up with a couple of frogs waiting to be used.

Suddenly, a simultaneous beep occurred from each of their cellphones, so unified that it would only make sense that it was from a single person. If they checked the message, a short text without a known source would reveal it self.

Go to the Shibuya Crossing.

All dead punks have no less then an hour to make it.

Die quickly - The Game Master. Duh.

Karasu looked at the man that introduced himself as Yajuu.

"Karasu. Akatsuki Karasu."
Soon afterwards his phone rang.

Funny, didn't think my phone would work in the after-life.

Sliding open the slider phone he listened to the message...

"You and your new friend you just met, go to A-East, you have two hours to get there, if you don't get there by that time, you will be dead again for the rest of your life this time."

"Damn, we better get..."
He was cut short by his phone vibrating and letting out bleeping noises. New Message...ACCEPT

Karasu sighed deeply, this was the price he payed for trying to save his own hide as well as Yukime's. And he refused to give up. Locating the direction to his first stop [Shibuya Crossing] he set off at a sprint. Despite his slim physique and seemingly non-existent muscles he was able to run for long periods of time over long and treacherous terrain. It also helped that he could run through traffic unadulterated. But that didn't stop his body from reacting.

After many attempts to avert being hit by a car only to realize that they couldn't hurt him he simply ran. But then he had to stop for a breath. Thanks be to whatever deity had thought of making it so that the dead didn't need food or water. Because off he went again.

Yajuu had heard Karasu speak after he did. It was interesting to hear what his name was, but it was not like they were going to be abvle to converse with each other for very long thanks to a phone call that had arrive to them. It came not from one, but from both of their cell phone. Picking up his phone the same time as Karasu a man had said something to them.

"You and your new friend you just met, go to A-East, you have two hours to get there, if you don't get there by that time, you will be dead again for the rest of your life this time."

Yajuu knew where that was at and he was about to head over in that direction thinking that Karasu was going to do the samething. When Yajuu made a step forward a text message began to make the Green Monster's phone ring. Yajuu open his phone and read what the message had said to them.

"Go to the Shibuya Crossing.

All dead punks have no less then an hour to make it.

Die quickly - The Game Master. Duh."

As soon as they got the message Karasu began to run without giving Yajuu the heads up. It was not like he didn't know what to do. They were going to have to run if they were going to make it to Shibuya Crossing on time. He began to ran as well trailing a few inches behind Karasu. This was nothing, he was physically fit for this and well just look at him. They were heading to their new destination.
